There are two ways to photograph a wedding. One way is a naturalistic approach where the photographer discreetly captures the event as it unfolds. The other is where the photographer literally directs the wedding party and guests and herds them into a series of predetermined poses - an approach that often comes across as unnatural, strained and corny.

I prefer to capture the day's events in a candid, true-to-life way.

Your wedding should not be centered on the photographer - it should be centered on you! The photographer should blend into the background, capturing the one-of-a-kind connection between you and your spouse, your guests, and the action of the festivities - not staged and stilted poses.

I can perform either style, but my experience is that the naturalistic approach is much preferred by the newlyweds and much easier on the eye when looking back at the photos in future years. You want photographs that faithfully capture the essence of your special day.

I use only the best equipment to create exceptional photos that you will cherish for years to come.
